Paul Goebel (aka “The King of TV”) is mostly known for his role on Comedy Central’s “Beat The Geeks” as the resident TV expert, and from his many guest appearances on shows like “Will & Grace”, “Boston Common” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, but he’s recently made his mark in the world of online comedy. Goebel and fellow comedians Jim Bruce and Brian McNett are fast approaching the 100th episode of their TV-themed podcast “The Paul Goebel Show”, and to celebrate, they’re taking the show on the road.
Along for the ride is frequent guest and popular comic Graham Elwood, who was most recently seen in the Doug Benson pot documentary “Super High Me”, as well as “The Sarah Silverman Program”.
Produced by Seattle’s own People’s Republic of Komedy, the show will feature of a mix of stand-up comedy and TV-related hi-jinx.
“The Paul Goebel Show” will be on Tuesday July 1st at Re-Bar in Seattle (1114 Howell St.). Showtime is 10pm. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more info, call (206) 233-9873 or go to http://www.myspace.com/thepaulgoebelshow.
